An important message about the future of AncestryHealth

When we launched AncestryHealth in 2019, our vision was to empower people to take action to address potential health risks identified in their genes and family health history. But we never lost sight of our mission to empower journeys of personal discovery, bringing families closer together and building more meaningful connections through family history.

To do this, we wanted to deepen our focus on family history, including AncestryDNA, which remains an important part of our commitment to family history.

As we carefully considered how to maximize the impact we hope to make, we made the difficult decision in the winter of 2020 to discontinue AncestryHealth.

What this decision means for you

We understand how disappointing this may be. Our commitment to our customers is our top priority, and we will do everything we can to take care of you.

After making this decision, we informed AncestryHealth customers via email and continued to support AncestryHealth through July 2021. AncestryHealth reports were available to download and keep through the end of that month.

AncestryHealth has now been discontinued and is no longer available for purchase, and AncestryHealth reports are no longer available to view or download.

Ancestral origins, DNA matches, and traits are not affected by the discontinuation of AncestryHealth. To see your DNA results, sign in to your Ancestry account, click the DNA tab, and select Your DNA Results Summary.
