Your right to cancel

You have the right to withdraw and change your mind and cancel your order for an AncestryDNA kit and receive a full refund, including shipping costs, at any time within 14 days of receiving your order. 

Note that you will not be entitled to a full refund of shipping costs if you expressly choose a delivery option which costs more than the least expensive type of delivery. In this case, you will only be entitled to a refund of shipping costs up to the least expensive type of delivery that Ancestry offers.

Refund Process

You may call us to cancel your order and request a refund. When you call, provide the same information you provided to us when you placed your kit order. You will need to know your order number, which can be found in the order confirmation email you received after placing your order.

Your right to cancel will lapse 14 days following the date you receive your order.

If your sample is submitted 

If you cancel your DNA test after you have submitted your sample, you will not be able to access any DNA results.  You do not need to return a physical kit. 

Receiving your refund

Your refund will only be provided via the credit card you used to purchase the AncestryDNA kit. Please allow a reasonable time for the credit to reach you.
